Who We Are
Our team has experience of energy-led projects on a wide variety of domestic and commercial construction developments in the public and private sector. LEC work closely within appointed design teams to advise on low energy, high performance buildings and systems. Our team members are registered Low Carbon Consultants, Chartered Engineers with CIBSE, SAP assessors, AC inspectors, BREEAM assessors and BREEAM AP (Accredited Professional).
The team apply a comprehensive approach to help meet regulatory approval based upon client aspiration and financial viabilities and go beyond regulations to reduce carbon emissions and running costs.
LEC provide full feasibility studies for renewable technology integration with any specific building type or situation. This is required by most planning authorities to obtain planning permission and it is also a requirement for most project funding mechanisms. Our team has prepared energy strategies and statements to obtain planning permission from the GLA and other authorities.
LEC energy consultants also conduct Part L compliant assessments, EPCs and thermal calculations for new build and refurbishment projects.
