Role: 
Low Energy Consultancy (LEC) is seeing a vast increase in activity associated with the construction industry, particularly relating to new build commercial projects. To continue our excellent level of compliance and thermal analysis service to our clients, our multi-discipline building services consultancy practice is looking to expand. Within our office locations set in London and Birmingham, the practice intends to appoint Senior Energy Assessors with strong client facing skills to support our London and Birmingham teams. Applications are invited from talented Building Physicians looking for a new challenge and to join a young and dynamic team working alongside an already growing M&E Contractor – Briggs & Forrester Group.
Location: 
London and Birmingham
Reports To: 
Associate and Technical Directors
Qualifications: 
The ideal candidates will be experienced IES or TAS Modellers with experience working in a mechanical and electrical building services design environment. An advantage would be someone with industry links to the surrounding areas of London and Birmingham.
Attributes/Skills: 
The appointed person will be disciplined and able to demonstrate the ability to prioritise schemes in order of importance and deadline, work quickly and effectively whilst maintaining high quality workmanship.

Role:
A mechanical estimator is required to send out enquiries to suppliers and sub-contractors. Take-off the drawings and input into ESTIMATION (Training given). Carry out an analysis of received quotations to ensure the equipment / specialist is compliant with the tender information. Complete a tender analysis including preliminary costs. Take the master tender letter and summary and customise them to suit the requirements of the submission and more importantly incorporate any specific clarifications that are poignant.
