Entire estate portfolio reviewed and assessed for Energy Performance standards.
From April 2018, the proposed legislative changes will introduce a Minimum Energy Efficiency Standard (MEES) making it unlawful to let residential or commercial properties with an EPC Rating of F or G (i.e. the lowest two tiers/grades of energy efficiency). Given this risk to property owners and occupiers it is clear that a full understanding of the energy efficiency of your property assets should be attained. Owners will need to assess the costs and viability of undertaking retrofits or refurbishments.
Our MEES (EPC Plus) report is an enhanced report that contains additional information to that collected in the standard EPC survey. It goes above and beyond government regulations on what the EPC must contain but adds value by being much more informative about your stock.
If you are serious about making significant improvements to your EPC rating and reducing the impact of your building on the environment then the MEES (EPC Plus) is the service for you. Not only is this a report but a consultancy service that is able to recommend not just specific technologies and services but suppliers as well. The report includes several different options for each recommendation, bespoke cost and payback calculations, potential CO2 savings and funding options all based on your requirements. We can also work from existing EPC reports.
An excemption report and application can also be made to ensure temporary compliance in the short term until improvements are completed.
The MEES EPC Plus reports include:
